Speaker Biography
Les A Marti is an Enrolled Agent (EA) who has been in the tax planning and preparation business since 1987, forming his own business in 1997. Les incorporated and renamed the business LesTax Ltd in 2015.
Les is also an income tax author and instructor, teaching other tax preparers how to minimize their clients’ tax burdens. He began teaching tax seminars in 2005, and has taught thousands of preparers not only in Illinois, but from coast-to-coast as well.
An Enrolled Agent (EA) is authorized by the U.S. Department of the Treasury to represent taxpayers before the IRS for audits, collections, and appeals. EAs advise, represent and prepare tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, estates, trusts and any entities with tax-reporting requirements.
