Institutions that prepay for this option can send 2 pharmacists to all 9 sessions offered.  The sessions offered in the fall of 2018 will be:

August 14; ROTATION PLANNING

How do you prepare? The purpose of this program is to give an overview of what to consider when developing a meaningful rotation experience for student and resident learners.

 

September 19; AUTHENTIC ASSESSMENT

Learning happens in every experience and interaction. This program provides an opportunity to identify how to make rotation activities more impactful for student and resident learning.

 

October 11; FORMATIVE, SUMMATIVE, and EFFECTIVE FEEDBACK

Feedback traverses the gap between performance and expectation. The purpose of this program is to identify how to use assessment and feedback to maximize learner development.

 

November 6; INTERACTING WITH A NEW GENERATION

IPPEs, and APPEs, and residents...oh my! The transition from Millennial learners to a new generation is about to happen. The purpose of this session is to review their similarities, differences, and what to account for with your

instructional styles.

Sessions will be held from 2-4 PM on the Wilkes University campus.
